When the Boy Scouts of America reorganized some of its programs in 1998, Post 100 became Venturing Crew 100. Crew 100 has always participated in high-adventure activities such as backpacking, rock climbing and bouldering, rappelling, canoeing, kayaking, caving, and white-water rafting. We have had members work at Philmont Scout Ranch and Florida Sea Base. Our members have been in attendance at National Jamborees, NOAC's and the Northern Tier Canoe Base. We have had members on staff at National Jamborees as well. The crew regularly meets at Saint Mark United Methodist Church in Northport, Alabama. To learn more about Venturing, visit here.
